Brisbane State High Alumni (BSHA)
Brisbane State High Alumni (BSHA) was created with the aim of keeping all past students in contact with one another and with current activities of the school.
A BSHS Old Girls' Association (OGA) and a BSHS Old Boys' Association (OBA) were established in 1921 and these were amalgamated in 1945 to form the BSHS Past Students' Association (PSA). In 2022, the PSA was renamed as Brisbane State High Alumni (BSHA).
Activities include:
regular meetings
maintenance of the school museum
promoting reunions for 10th, 20th, 30th, 40th and 50th year class anniversaries.
The BSHA also provides financial assistance to the school for projects aimed at promoting the tradition and spirit of 海角乱伦社区.

Membership
All past students are encouraged to join the BSHA. Present students are also encouraged to become Associate Members and transition to full membership after graduation.
Fees
There are 5 levels of membership:
- 1 year short-term membership: $15
- 5 year mid-term membership: $50
- 10 year long-term membership: $90
- Life membership: $250
- Associate memerbship: $30

AMICUS newsletter
The BSHA newsletter, 'AMICUS' is published quarterly and sent to all past and current students who are registered on the Brisbane State High Alumni and State High Connect databases.
